Bogus strings with Pal-Patcher? (Megalex this is for you)
I've reimaged Ray Blade JAP with DJ for a friend.
I have a PAL DC+RGB Cable, and this game works with no problem, but just for curiosity, I've scanned it with Pal-patcher 1.1, which has found a 50 Hz code. What does it mean? The game has no black borders and no problems booting. I've scanned only the 1st_read.bin. Is it possible that Pal-patcher finds strings that are actually not what they seem? I have activated only the following slots: 50 -> 60 Hz PAL Protection 1 PAL Protection 2 Process only 1st read file I'd like to know this, in case it happens in the future (I've used Pal-patcher many times on really protected games, but this is the first time I find a code for an already working game).
