Master of Orion III What protection?

Does anyone know what protection This software is using? I know Disk one is Secure rom 4.8, but the play disk has none, or something i cannot detect. The play disk does not work. This seems similar to Unreal 2003: The awakening

Eh is it a game or is it a software?
I know the SecuRom is a software but is the Master of Orion III a game? The topic thread it's a little bit of confusing.

The protection is so good that even their own installer doesn't realize what to copy to Hard drive.

First, I want to thank everyone for the help.

I know the protection is Securom, Clony detected that, but dosent see anything on the second disk. The second disk is protected though, because i cannot make a working copy of it.

Whatever this protection is, its the same as Unreal 2003: The awakening. Is there a protection scanner out there that can pick this up?

I appreciate the help.
