I was wondering if there was a way for ps2 to read backups of psx and ps games without a modchip?

There is a sawp method where you have to use a knife I heard about but you can very well break your ps2.

You are guaranteed to break your PS2 using the knife trick. It is a lot cheaper to buy a mod then it is to buy a new PS2.

i used the gameshark/knife method, only i used a tiny screwdriver from a eyeglass repair kit. i never got a solid answer on if this still works with newer games, because i did it for tekken tag, star wars racer:revenge, and GTA3 (not vice)
