Hitman 2 Problem for specialists

When i start Hitman 2, i can play it without sound and even sounoptions in the game. Even the correction in the ini-file doesn´t work.
But now the expert-problem????
When i´m finished with the game, and i start it new, there is this message:

First of all. It is a patch out.
Second. Read the readme file.
There it saying normal issiues, for Graphic Cards and Sounds Cards.

Read it. Then replie!

Ok, i´ve red the readme file, but my graphic and soundharware and software are ok.
I´ve got the patch, but it doesn´t work.

What OS are U using?
and what soundcard?

My game is installed, but there is no sound.

I´ve got a Typhoon 4 PCI Sound Card and GeForce4 MX 440 graphiccard with 64mb DDR Ram AGP.

My problem is, that my computer runs with WIN98, it´s an PIII 733.
Which one shoud i update?
For my soundcard there is no update!
