What is the best dvd burner for backing up ps2 games???

I just need to know what's the best dvd burner for backing up ps2 games and what is the best brand of dvd-r media that you guys suggest that I use? Thx...

The Pioneer drives are an excellent choice as well as Sony drives. If you are in the US, then Ritek dvd-r media is the way to go. Cheap and work perfectly.

What program do you use to backup your ps2 games? I hear ppl are using the recordmax program but it doesn't come with the pioneer a05 dvd drive. Only the new Sony dvd-aux comes with it...

I use RecordNow DX. It is the same as RecordNow Max except it was renamed and included with the A04. I wouldn't let a program sway your decision on which burner to get. There are places to get software.
