It could be the media you burned them to.

Are you using isomaker to make iso's. If not try that, the games I burned as data disc take longer to load than the ones I made iso.

How many backups have you made in UDF that have been successfull instead of creating iso's, and what would you reccomend.

Thanks!

dude
hi
i now have 70 working xbox games backed up to dvd-r using the data method. 9 of these games have been burned usind the iso and data method.

i again have to say i much rather prefer the data method to the iso method, as i can read the game data directley from the finished dvd and can experiment with downsizeing the games much easier. i also tend to do get a signifigentley larger success rate with the data method.

thats just my experience and opinion.

Cheers.

However, i'm still having trouble backing up Buffy (PAL) , as it keeps hanging when i start a new game. Tried loads of different media, used the data method and iso method same results everytime.

If it hangs when you start a new game, it is ussually because a game's iso was created with xISO, or when you copied the files from your xbox, one may have gotten corrupted. That happens all the time when you "resume" and other rare cases.
