Is there any way to..

Enable those extra options for ps2 games? Like disc speed and texture mapping while using a mod-chip? I need to press reset everytime to boot the backups but is there some way to save the settings?

The disc speed and texture mapping options are only for PS1 games.
If using a Magic3 you don’t need to press reset to boot the ps1 games once in ps1/dvd mode, you can boot from the browser.

I meant to say ps1 games, sorry. I have an NH3 and I have to press reset twice to have ps1 games to boot up.

I thought that those settings were saved on your sys config but obviously not. Oh well, learn something new every day!

It would appear not matey, unless your sys settings r on yr ps2 mem card and yr taking that out and putting in a ps1 card before u reset in which case the PS2 would not be able to read the sys config stuff.

Try leaving in both PS1 and PS2 mem cards and see if it remembers adter the reset!!

Other than that it looks bleak!

Regards.......
