Battlfield problem (Message: Data differs from server)

I installed the game, then installed Road to Rome and finally cracked the game by replacing the .exe and .dll-files with the ones that can be found on this site. When I try to connect to a server it says "Data differs from server" and I bacome dissconnected. Trying to connect to another server directly after that results in a "crash" in the program and I end up on my desktop.

Does anyone have the same problem or even better know how to solve it?

did you install the crackfix?

Dump an image form yor orignial CD.
Mount the image from your original CD.

Always use a original CD key.

If U do that.
U don't need any crack.
any CD
and the U can play the game online.

Don't use crack to play online!

I can't find the original CD, that is the problem.

Where can I find the crackfix and what does it do?

With what program can I dump an image of my cd?

We're talking about the Road To Rome original. Can't you find that one, what, two weeks after you bought it ? You DID buy it, right ?

STEP BY STEP

ok just to clear things up
the perfect way to install bf1942 and r2r is this..

InstALL bf1942
iinstall r2r
get the bf1942 patch 1.3 version!
get the CRACK for 1.3 by FLTDOX
Then extract the cracked files 'mod.dll', 'gamespyhost.dll' and
'bf1942.exe' into the right directories.

get the bf1924 & r2r online server fix by iMSDOX
open the included .exe in the iMSDOX file, let it patch the game.

now play on servers
u can play on CRACKED servers, and NONCRACKED but for non cracked u need a VALID cd key i dont have one tho
if u still get "DATA DifferS FROM SERVER" then u made a mistake somewhere.
if the game crashes to the desktop thats because u must join a bf1942 r2r server by going into bf1942 r2r icon NOT just normal bf1942 icon, vice versa...ok??
if u get "Invalid Key" its coz ur using a bad key and ur tryin to join a retail server

okay, let's make some things clear. the first crack that was released for the 1.3 patch (FLTDOX one) was bad. it wasn't compatible with original, so even with original cd-key you couldn't play on the noncracked servers, and with a noncracked exe you couldn't play on cracked servers.

so that's why IMSDOX made a crackfix for it, but not nearly all of the cracked servers use it. so if you are trying to connect with FLTDOX exe to a server running IMSDOX patched exe, you get "data differs from server" error. and also if you're trying to connect FLTDOX cracked server with IMSDOX exe you're getting the same error, get it? you just have to change the exe depending which cracked server you're playing (of course you can't know it until you try to connect to it).

and this crashing to desktop is probably a BF 1.3 bug, it happens to me everytime i get "cd-key in use", "invalid cd-key", "data differs from server" or "server is full" error. next time i try to connect to some server, it throws me back to desktop.
