How to convert mult files to 96kbps

Can anyone please tell me how and with what software I can convert multiple mp3 files to a bitrate of 96 kbps for an mp3 player. I have a lot on my HD but right now, I have to use winamp to do ONE AT A TIME...and this is getting very time consuming. ANY suggestions please leave here or e-mail to joeysbox**********com.
Thanks for ANY Help
