dvd-r + dvd+r (difference)

can anyone tell me what is the difference with dvd-r and dvd+r and will a + work in a pioneer 105 writer ?

They are just different types of media. No you can not burn to + media with a 105.

its only because i got hold of some datasafe dvd+rw (about 300 in total) and no writer to copy onto them with.
anyone for a game of frisbies............................
