DVD to DVD burns

Has anyone tested burning a ps2 DVD to a DVD-r? I just got a Pioneer DVR-A03 burner. I haven't tried burning a game to it yet. What would I need in order to copy the game and to play it. Any suggestions would be great.

I haven't done it either but as u might know on http://www.sgt-dan.com there is a booting procedure for copied DVDs. I believe that NERO 5.5 would be used to achieve the DVD copy but I'm not sure.
