Good price for DVD media?
I've seen a couple posts about blank DVD media only costing $1 a pop - my question is "Where the hell are you shopping?"
I've checked out CompUSA, BestBuy, and Office Depot. The best price I've found so far for either DVD+ or DVD- discs is around $4 / disc. Is there any retail chains out there to buy media from, or is $4 / disc pretty much standard?

You pretty much get screwed at retail stores. rima.com and this store sell the good dark purple Ritek dvd-r for less than $1 a disc.

Bought some of the Ritek this past week and they work good.The cheapest chain type store is Sam's Club, they have Verb's 12 for $25, but were I'm at they only have dvd+r.

what's the difference between the ritek General, Inkjet Printable

General are...well general. Inkjet printable have a top writing surface that allows you to print onto it using an inkjet printer.
