when u copy a ps2 game on cd-rom based games would u copy it like u would a ps1 game and dose these games need patchs

Yes, use clonecd and no patching is necessary.

dose primo work
cause i used primo dvd and make image and back to cdr but i have not seen if it loads yet cause i didnt want to d/l clone cd at the time 26 kbs connect speed is slow to d/l with

I've burned some of my cd games that way and they work fine, you should have no problem.
