Ok here's the situation...
I've been getting some local quotes for messiah2 installations. One bloke has quoted a good/low price for a messiah2. Even though it could be a genuine deal there is also a chance this could be too good to be true. I will ask him to show me the chip before I install it. So what I wanna know is, what do look for to know this messiah2 is the real-deal (eg I am getting a messiah2, not some other chip)?? Do all messiah2s look like the one shown in the BOOT PROCEDURES (http://www.fileforums.com/showthread.php?threadid=38232) thread? Or is there another way of knowing for sure? Thanks ppl |

Yes, that is what they all look like. If they look any different, don't buy it.

You could always just buy the chip from Dust2Dust or Charlie_PS2... Then you would be ASSURED that you are getting a genuine Messiah 2.......
Then just take your chip to your local installer and have him put it in for you.....(Although you may want to watch him put it in, so he doesn't switch chips on you)
