Angry N64 Emu Leaked

The Nintendo64 Emulator was leaked out on IRC and I hear the developer has stopped working on it. A lot of people probably already know this, but here ya go to the people that don't. This really sucks as I, and a lot of others, were looking forward to playing some of the actual good N64 games on the Xbox. Anyone with any more info on this subject please post here.

it'd probably be easier to emulate them on the pc than the xbox......not sure the xbox's hardware is up to it.

It really sucks when some twat leaks emus. The same thing has just hapenned with PGEN for PS2. The developer(s) work their socks off creating these emus, then a copy gets leaked and the developer thinks "Is it worth it?" and stops.

For those who don't follow the emulation scene, it is getting better and better by the day, you should check it out.

Hmm found this just buy looking back a few pages...
Ya I hate it when just jackass leaks a lot of hard word. But I dont think the developer(s) sould just give up. They should keep working to make theire EMU better.

This is a very big prob with my other hobby, free TV... Coders spend outless hours to make a nice working 3M, and it some how ends up on the net b/c some bum thougt he could trust this other person online, then he sends it to some one he thinks he trusts, then it gets right in the hands of DirecTV, who then puts a quick stop to that script from working

Any way, just my say.

I wish it wasn't leaked. I was looking forward to it. Didn't this happen about 5 months ago or so?

N64-X
Posted by Sin-Tex at 21:26 PM

News Source: .:Top Secret:.

Hikaru's site mentions some sort of keyboard problems with N64-X, i can only assume this means he has started working on it.

Will post more news as and when it becomes available.

Runs better on PC? This thing runs beautifully on the Box. Mario 64 alone ran at around twice the speed it should have, basically perfect emulation. If it had a few more months work it would have been really really good. I heard that another team are working on the same emulator, but will actually make it work properly.

i think the x box could easily run a n64 emu

the only issue with something like the dc or ps2 running emus was that for the roms to work they had to be loaded into the ram along with the emulators code which made it tricky, hence why some dc emulators like dreamsnes still have trouble running at full speed

i think if the emu and roms ran off the hd it could run smoothly without any problems, just need to sort out the emulation code
