I have the fixed exe, but I need the fixed SETUP file. this is protected like Westwood Studios games, and it keeps giving me grief when installing. I have tried a different CD ROM drive, but have the same problem. It must be some other hardware problem or firmware maybe. This is the original disc, not Warez or a copy. I don't like posting things like this, because everyone assumes you don't have the original, which is untrue. I have Comand and Conquer - General on order for next week, but know I will have the same problems with that, as it will use the same protection method. Westwood were kind enough to send me Fixed Setups for Red Alert 2 and Renegade after I sent them my game receipt, but the games had been out a while then, so piracy was less of an issue.

Seems your issue then, given its possibly hardware error is not really pertinent for Game Copy World to assist you.

You know were here to help with issues people have with Backingup their original discs.

I read it you were wanting a Crack / Fix for your game, not a "amended" setup file (from the developer) to bypass the protection given your CDRom / Rig Setup (as you say) gives you grief.

If this is the case again for you with Chessmaster 9000 then go Back to the game developers......it worked once for you.....
