Question Newbie needs help

I have tried to use both procedures in the above "sticky-factoids PS2 Copy procedures" to put an image of Grand Theft Auto-Vice City on my HD. With both Vertitas Record now and PrimoDVD the process goes to %100, but then I get the following error "Px Engine Error (Command:28 Sense:03 ASC:11 ASCQ:05)reading from the disk". I sure would appreciate any suggestions.

Using Pioneer DVR-103

This is my first attempt at making my back-up copy. Also, I have not ordered my mod chip yet. Am leaning toward Messiah 2. Any comments/suggestions?

thanks in advance!

Try downloading the latest PX engine from www.veritas.com/us/products/recordnow/drivers/.

Yes I would recommend the Messiah 2 as it does everything without swapping etc.

Further to my reply.

Unless your an expert with electronics/soldering iron I would strongly suggest you get an expert to mod your console.

There are a lot of sorry stories on this forum where people have messed up their PS2.

Thanks for the link. I downloaded the latest engine update and restarted, but I still come up with the same error. Any other suggestions?

Try backing up a different game, it could be a fault on Grand Theft Auto.
