G'day A-ROD

Well it sounds like your on the right track of producing backup copies. It sounds like in this instance youve been able to make a backup copy - but its not a true 1:1 Copy as the safedisc protection it uses has worked out that the copy you've made is not the original disc...... thats why it hangs when you try to start the game...

To Make a true 1:1 copy is as much software dependant as it is hardware dependant (the type of writer you use). MOHAA uses SafeDisc 2 ver 2.51 protection & CD Writers are available that can write this correctly as a 1:1.

Have you :

1. tried ensuring that HIDE CDR Media is ticked in your CloneCD
Tray icon ..... (Right click it )

2. Tried another CD Rom drive other than your writer.....

3. Had a read of The Numerous Threads that have asked this question already....

4. Given you've made a 99.99% backup why dont you go the easy way & just Download a crack / fix so you dont need the CD to play....

Personally.....go for #4............

Hi there...

Total newbie here....I installed MOHAA using my CDs but since I travel a lot I don't want to carry the CDs with me everywhere I go(FYI the game plays fine with the CDs). So, I went to MegaGames, downloaded crack v1.11 and replaced the .exe file in my MOHAA directory with this one. Double clicked the file, program starts, I select a mission and go to the first loading screen and get the MOHAA has caused an error window asking me to send the information to Microsoft. Any ideas?

I am using Windows XP.

Thanks in advance for your help.

J

krondike is on a distinguished road
Run the game with your original CD in. then exit the game. Don't push the cd-out.

Start blindread, do a .bin and .cue file, don't use subcode or the one above. (read my guide about SafeDisc 2). Then start reading.

When you run the GAME with you original CD then exit it. BUT NOT pushing the cd-rom out. The error reading (digital signature)are automatic being in the image file.

Another call for it, it's fast dump!
That I haven't added t the guide yet. But here you go. The fresh guide of fast dump for SafeDisc 1 and SafeDisc 2

If you still having problems
Read my guide for SafeDisc 2 image.

If that's don't work. You haven't got a CD-ROM that's supporting SafeDisc 2 1:1 perfect copy!
