ripping ps2 games through ps2linux

i've got a mod'd ps2 w/ ps2 linux. ps2linux can mount and read original ps2 games. I was wondering if one could copy all the files from the ps2 game onto the harddrive, then transfer the files to a pc w/ dvd burner to be mastered into a ps2-dvdr.
