This is a known problem with NBA live, go over to the EA forums and ask there, we're here for crack support. Anyway the only advise I can give you is update your video card drivers, additional advise could only be given if you find out what video card you have. Check this thread for some tips on how to check which card you have.

Some?? I saw ONE tip, which was unexplained, and that was through Device Manager, which alot of people dont know exsists, or even what it is.

Easy way to check your Graphics Card is:
1: Right click anywhere on your desktop (that thing with all those icons like My Computer, Recycle Bin etc Dont right click any of those icons. Click away from them)
2: On the menu that appeared, click on Properties.
3: Your Display Properties Window should have appeared. Go to the very last Tab, Settings, and look under the heading that says 'Display', your Graphics Card will be Named (& Shamed) there.

BTW clicking the Advanced Button on this window will take you to further info screens about your GPU. Driver Version etc....

BTWx2 right clicking the My Computer icon will help you get started on Rincewind's method.

Hi rayt06. I do not own either of the mentioned games but my guess would be that your graphics card just dosent cut the mustard with either of the mentioned games. Have a look on the box for the games (normaly back of box) and see what the requirements are for playing the game and my guess is it will require more than 8MB from a graphics card. If it dose then you need to buy another one and not just any. Do some home work 1st and decide what suits your needs and pocket. If you enjoy playing games and want to play them in all there glory then you deffinatly need a new graphics card m8. Most new games wont even run on a graphics card with only 8MB and just to give you an idea of where you card stands in todays market, I own a 64MB DDR graphics card (ddr = double display rate) my guess is your card is a SDR (single display rate) but even my card is classed as low in todays market as there are 128MB graphic cards and its not just about the amount of MBs on a graphic card either. Hope this helps you understand a bit more

I can confirm this, NOTHING these days will work with a Vanta, except maybe Master Of Orion III. For modern EA games, make sure you've got at least a geforce 2mx or higher...
