You will be more sure of the result if you are able to copy a backup that works on your PS2. A staright copy with CDRWin should also produce a working copy.

also should i burn ps2 games at like 1x or 2x and do i have to burn psx games at those speeds and if not which speeds?i am not really going to burn psx game unless some1 ask me to but i am testing if my cdrw is compatable with the software by burning a psx gam and then playing it on my ps2 (i am burning a game that is already a backup of a psx and i know it works on my ps2)

The only real way of knowing if you can copy games is by trying.

Everyone has started where you are know, you will also make several coasters in the process but the main thing is trial and error.

Get hold of a non-protected Ps-1 game which you fancy and follow the tutorial for CDRwin on my site and if you follow it step by step you should make a working copy.

Don't be 2 disheartened if it doesn't work just post back here and tell us why and someone here will help you, but try copying first and see how it goes.

You appear to me to be in a reasonable position with CDRWin. The DVD drive will accurately read your CDs and that matters. Your Burner will write Session at Once RAW - that's fine.

So you can copy games with CDRWin.

CloneCD shoud also be OK because with SAO+RAW produces the same result (I believe unless anyone can correct me) as DAO+RAW. So, as Deano says, try it with something you know works.

Presumably you patched the BIN file. If so, the steps you described were correct. Look for the BIN file with the same name as the CUE file. It should be in the same directory. If it is, print it out and let us know what it says.

The Cue file is a text file. Use NOTEPAD and cut/Paste
