Stargate SG-1
The stargate season 1 on dvd consists of 4 episodes @ 44 min each per disk. How can i compress the whole 7.5 gig dvd to fit on One 4.7 gig dvd? I've tried DVD2ONE but it will only do one episode. I dont want to rip each episode i just want to re-encode the whole thing to fit on a single dvd. If it were a movie it would be easy, but i dont know how to do this one since it has 4 to 5 episodes per dvd.
thanks all. |

Never done this but you could try ripping each episode and converting them to mpegs. Then join the 4 mpegs and encode from there. Some mpeg joining software is listed here

Thanks for everyones help but I figured it out! I used dvd-decrypter to extract main ifo and all vobs then used ifoedit95 the redo the information then dvd2one to re-encode. I now have the whole 7.5gig dvd on one 4.3gig dvd.
