Best program to remove safedisk 2 protection?

What is the best program to remove Safedisk 2 protection? My burner can't burn in RAW DAO so CloneCD is not an option

safedisc2 has many different versions.

There are unwrappers available for versions up to 2.40.10, but not the new 2.51.20 (??).

Do you see the link above that says "unsafedisc". Follow it to find an analyser (to tell ya the version) and the unwrapper.

In the end, you'll probably have to use cracked/fixed game.exe files from GCW as your burner isn't gonna be able to copy most protected cds.

CloneCD can write SAO-RAW, which should be enough for SD2 ...
try CloneCDs ´amplify weak sectors´ option, if it fails try Daemon Tools (www.dtools.de) ...
use it´s fast dump feature (read the manual -> other features) to create an image, write it to cd-r, and play with enabled SafeDisc emulation ...
SafeDisc 2.51.021 has been tested with Daemon 3.0x and works fine!

On a personal note, I've a Yammie scsi burner which can only do SAO-RAW. It has never produced a working safedisc1 or 2 copy.

daemon tools is still the best option for all, considering that this latest version of sd2 is even more hardware dependant than before.

I´ve a Yamaha 4416S, and it CAN DO SafeDisc1 with SAO-RAW perfectly! So I don´t know what you´ve done with your Yammi, but it seems to me it was somehow wrong ...
SafeDisc2 is a problem, but works also fine with Daemon Tools!

Im new to this myself and was also having trouble with CloneCD. It just took some gettin used to. Did you check in CloneCD help file to see if your burner was supported? If it is there will also be a "best burn" setting (mine was RAW DAO+subs). Another tip I found on here is to change your regional settings in start/settings/control panel to Canada to enable "amplify weak sectors" setting. DDF
