Backing Up PS2

Can anyone help? Are any DVD PS 2 games protected? I have been trying to back-up DVD's using Pioneer A04, and Nero. Is this the best program to use? I have successfully backed up MGS 2 and Toca Race Driver, but have had failures with some EA Sports games.

The A04 is awesome. Nero isn't that great. Switch to PrimoDvd and you shouldn't have any more problems. You can download it from www.psxcopyworld.co.uk

The best programs to back up ps2 dvd games are primo dvd and recordnow max. You say you have had failures with EA games, you wouldn't have a neo 2.2 chip by any chance, cause these games need patching if u do.

No DVD to DVD protection yet.

Fade protection only applicable when ripping DVD to CDR.

The only prob at the mo is DVD9 games which will need a rip kit or a patch to stick them on two dvdr's but at the mo the number of dvd9 games is small.

Happy burning!! and ditch nero for copying PS2 games. You can get it to copy but involves playing with settings and lets face it, if you can't just use nero wizard then your better off going to other software. PrimoDVD2 and record now max rock!! They is the best.

always use decent media as well. Ritek,Traxdata,DVDMaster or dark purple verbatim.(be careful with verbatim as they also do silvery purple media which is CR*P!!)

Regards and good luck!!!!!
