Is there anyway possible to backup a PS2 DVD rom on to CD-r? or would it have to backed up onto a DVD-r? Any help with would be gratefully appreciated. |

You have to rip them to make them fit. I don't do them myself--got a DVD Burner (best way). There are guides on how-to, just search for "Rip Kits" or "DVD-Rip" and you should hit some.

Yes you can burn dvd games to cdr. It is called ripping. Have a look at psx paul's site for ripping site links here. Getting a dvd burner is much easier but if you don't have $200 to spare or don't want to save up for one, ripping is the only other option.

you will still need a dvd-rom if not a DVR to read the dvd so you can Rip the files (actualy you image it, then rip it).... most new computers come with one, but most old computers wont have one.....
