Is true that a flip lid is coming out?
 Is it true that there is a flip lid cd player that you can screw onto the top of your ps2 that runs copied games?

regarding the flip lid I think you'll find its actually a replacement ps2 lid with a flip open cd tray, use as an alternative no-mod method.
there are links for this product but i'm not going to do any free promotions for them!  LK

Counting installation for him (because believe me he isn't technically minded) it would work out a lot cheaper. I don't know the site address, I just came across a forum with a UK link to the product and placedit in his favourites.
