backup of PSX games
i am new to the copying of PSX games. Is it possible to make a working back-up of PSX games which are not chipped and make these back-ups work on a PSX which is not chipped?
If so, what software would I need? If there are any threads which may help me please tell me.I'm sorry if this question has been asked many times before. Thanks. |

At the top of this forum there should be a tread called 'Sticky: Back software tutorials' there are a number of programmes they show you how to use in there but i would personly suggest using CloneCD. The problem is that CloneCD does not work with all cd burners. CloneCD will make a 1:1 backup, which basicaly means it will work on a unmodded ps1. So if CloneCD does not work on your computer then for a second choice i would recomend CDR WIN. Problem with cdrwin is that you have to have a mod chip to play any games you copy with it. So far CloneCD is the only programme that allows you to copy ps1 games and play them on a ps1 without a modchip. Have fun with it mate and send me a msg if you have anymore problems.

you will still need a mod-device of some kind to boot your backup, apart from that spot on
