Complete n00bies xbox question
Hiya,
been looking around but couldnt see this anywhere around. so i apologise if its been asked and flamed thousends of times before. Whats the crack with xbox games? do they all need to be on DVD, i have read about "ripped" versions, so can you just burn onto a CDR and go from there? or are the ripped versions just so that you can fit a good few onto a DVD disk? i thought i read somewhere that xboxes didnt read from CD's, only DVD. i might have just dreampt that though  i ask cos i mate has asked me for some xbox stuff and as i havent got one i havent got a clue  many thanks in advance gib

the xbox can possibly read the cd-rs depending on how recent you got it and what type of dvd drive it has, u can read it off one of the forums as to what plays cd-rs. u could use a cd-rw i believe, but the file sizes are relatively large, hence the dvd-rs. u could also fit multiple games on a dvd-r but u need an xbox game selector
