Messiah
Want to start to copy my games- was told the messiah was the way to go- just wanted to know if the chip will damage my playstation 2 in any way- is there anything to worry about??
Aside from the messiah, what else do i need, ie. software etc.- Is clone CD enough??

The messiah2 is definitely the best chip out there right now. The messiah2 will not damage your PS2 once is already installed, however installing it is not for the inexperienced.
Hardware needed of course is a CD-RW and a DVD-RW drives. Clone CD and Nero are the best tools used to backup CD based games. To backups DVD based games a lot of people use Prassi Primo and Record Now Max, I personally use Nero for both CD and DVD based games.

Clone CD IS the best program to backup your cd based games.....
RecordNow Max is the best to backup your dvd based games.. Primo is almost identical to RecordNow Max except it is outdated now.... NERO is an ok choice but not 100% effective.... If you don't have a dvd burner, SAVE UP and get one... They are coming down in price and are worth every penny....
