A few monthts ago my old HP 2 speed burner chashed. I have made a lot of backups using that one togheter with CDRWin 3.8.
Now I have got myself a new Samsung burner. To make it work with CDRWin, I had to install version 3.9. I try to make backups like I used to, but they do not work. The only difference in burnin (I can think of) is, that I burn at 4-speed on the Samsung (which is the slowest speed available). I used to burn at 1-speed. I am sure, that it is not PS thats making trouble, since all my old backups runs perfectly. Does anyone how to solve these problems with the Samsung - or CDRWin 3.9?? |

Here's what I do and "what I used to do"
You're right - it doesn't say much.
Using CDRWin I make an image file (Cuesheet). Settings are: Extract Mode: Disc Image/Cuesheet Reading Options: RAW Error recovery: Ignore Jitter Correction: Disable Subcode Analasys: Auto Data Speed: 1 (if I read from my DVD drive which I used to) 4 if I use my burner as the source-device. Audio Speed: The same. Read retry: 50 After making the file (and patching if necessary) I click the Record Disc option. Load the Cuesheet, and records at the lowest speed possible. I have no checkmarks in the Recording options fields. |

...continued
No errors or messages are shown during reading and copying.
CDRWin ends up saying "Recording completed successfully". In the PS the White/Orange Sony logo appears, and from here nothing else happens. |

Comparing...
No I haven't tried to compare the CD's - until now.
I cannot read them. Neither in my burner nor in my DVD drive. It seems like they were never closed correctly in the burning process. We're talking 5 different games. 3 Disney 1 from EA and 1 from Idon't remember who.. |
