Playstation 2 has no color on my monitor!!!

Was wondering if anyone could tell me why my playstation 2 runs only in black and white on my Samsung 210t. I've tried both the composite and S-Video inputs. Not sure what else to do short of hooking up a VCR in the middle, which will drastically affect my picture quality. I get sound, and it works fine when I hook it up to my TV. Is there a setting I'm missing? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Is it in Black and White when playing games, or is it when you first turn it on?

It was starting out in Black and White. Turns out after going and buying yet ANOTHER A/V cable it solved the problem. Sheesh. Thanks anyway.

BTB, how much did the chip / chipping cost you? Have a V5 PS2 (NTSC) that has a no solder chip. It suxors major and want to upgrade. I understand Messiah 2 is a great way to go. Any info would be greatly appreciated 'cuz I spent the money on the A05 and want to start backing up my games.

Thanks for the info

The chip should run you around $58.00 bucks....
The install will cost anywhere from $60-$80 bucks...

Its WELL WORTH the money....
