Just wanted to update you on the status... a friend of mine that has done chipping in the past completed the Messiah2 chipping on Saturday... took him about 10 hours to do...
as a test we put in a backup of an import game (one of the Jap DDR titles) and it worked perfectly! We also tried a backup of Intelligent Qube, which worked good too. When I get home tomorrow, i'll try some backups of PS2 games (burned onto CDr media) as well. Now I just need to get the media for my A05

hhhmmm....
I tried burning two PS2 backups to CDr media (cause they would fit in that size) but the console wouldn't boot them...
first I'm gonna find a lens cleaner.. but what else could the problem be? (I plays a PS1 backup just fine) I burned the disc under Linux, using cdrdao ... might that be the problem?
