Burning problems

While attempting to burn a copy of counter-strike using nero (from an image file) it came up with an error saying burn proccess failed.
If counter-strike only has a CD-Check then why does the burn proccess fail everytime? And how do I find out what the problem is?
Any help appreciated
-Ripper

Counter-Strike Retail (Standalone) Has no protection whatsoever. No CD Checks, No SecuROM, No SafeDisc. Nada.

Like I said in your previous I just did a On The Fly copy with Nero. Use CloneCD if you want but you should not be having any difficulities copying this game.

I think that image is legit, look at his other thread.

If its not, then there aint no real reason to burn itbecause he will, more then likely, have trouble logging on to Valve/WON Networks due to a Banned/Generated CD Key.

The image IS legit (I have read the rules) and I got to about 50 or 70% untl the burn proccess failed (I dont really remember that well)
I was burning at 40x (6,000kbps) and using the Disc-At-Once write method.

Only burn to the speed that the media is certified - and even then, some poor quality media that claim speeds of 40x cannot do this in all writers. Reduce your speed drastically to about 12X, if that works, then next time you burn a game on one of those disk, try 16X, and keep incrementing the speeds each time until you find a thresehold.
