Is this a dumb question ?
Hi as I am new to this first Pc at 65 !
is there burning software that makes an EXACT COPY ? i was told clone cd I BOUGHT IT !!! but now told he has to have his new ###ne CHIPPED !!! WHY ? ITS SUPPOSED TO BE A CLONE ? I am confused anyone straighten me out ? thanks for any info ! |

No, it's not a dumb question. Certainly CloneCD will make an EXACT copy of whatever you throw at it, provided your CD writer is compatable.
As far as having a Playstation chipped or modded, then yes, I think you have to do that too. I don't have a PS though so maybe someone else can answer that part for you. psx's require a modification either in chip form or a mod pack that plugs in. i recommend a chip. without a chip, the playstation will not recognize the cd-r media.

i have a moded psx1 and i know that playstation original cds have different structure because they are pressed in a different record that is specialized for these cds.clone cd makes perfect copies of the cds but in a different way.so if you have a psx emulator you will see that playstation imports work properly because your cd rom can read them.you can find more information about this at psxcopyworld.co.uk
