Swap trick without a chip...

Hey.

I have just bought myself a pioneer A05 dvd-wr. It is coming tomorrow hopefully. Anyway, i backed up ages ago a game which i then played without any chip (this is a cd-r backup) then because i had unscrewed my ps2 i could insert an ar2 then take off the top of it, take the tiop off the disc tray > swap them over then press play and it would load up.

Will i be able to do this with dvd backups of games etc.

Am i going to have to get it chipped and if i am do you reccomend just a non solder chip with a swap trick method used or go whole way and get direct boot chip???

thanks

Jonny

Yes, but do you really want to be taking apart your ps2 just to be able to play games? Sounds like a pain to me. Get yourself a no swap mod like the Messiah 2.
