Newbie Laser question w/modchips
Can anyone give me some insight on the laser damage that can/is being caused by the mod chips? Is this a serious risk with the Magic 3 chip? Any chips better than others in regards to this issue?
thanks! |

Mods do no damage to your laser what so ever except for the "Neo" line of chips. Neokey, Neo 2.2, etc, all fry your laser. You will be fine with a Magic 3.

Thanks...and followup
Thanks for erasing my concern....Now a quick follow-up. I would like to get backups made of my kids' PS2 games before they destroy them. The CDR games I can burn/copy on my CDRW, but where can I find some USA resellers of PS2 DVD based games?
probably should have started another thread for this one, but thought you might have some leads.... jeff |

Asking about where to buy backups is a no no here.
