Accession Releases

I read in the Echelon Tutorial that Accession released DC games don't include ip.bin. I believe that I may have one of those games. In the root directory, these files are present:

0GDTEX.PVR
1ST_READ.BIN
DISCNUM.bin
0A.DAT

I'm trying to make this CD selfboot. What do I need to do?

As far as I know the program "Bin2Boot" asks if it should create an IP.bin, if it can't find it. You could try to make the games selfboot that way.

Megalexxx is on a distinguished road
Bin2Boot converts iso 9660 non boot images to CDI selfboot images.

But first, try to open your original non boot iso with an hew editor and look for "SEGAKATANA". If you find this, it's bound to be an ip.bin.

First, Accession Releases are self booting *.CDI's
The IP.BIN is hidden from you after buring, because it is in the BootStrap of the CD, which is out side of the browsable file system.
So you shouldnt have to patch it for self booting, but if you still need the IP.BIN, you need CDIRip and ISOFix, both can be found
here
http://internetconvoy.com/dc_util.htm

1) Use cdirip to cut the ".cdi"image to ".iso" image.

2) isofix TData02.iso New.ISO 11700

after that, you will have a file called "bootfile" which is really your ip.bin so rename it that.
