the file from megagames is a backupfile for the englisch v1.0!

even its an fix.exe ist doesnt work,
maybe, its why I have a german version of monkey island :*(

Anyone have a link or guaranteed website where I can find a nocd fix for this game?
I have tried both megagames and gamecopyworld, with nothing working on either site...

are you talking about monkey island 3 right now??
there is no exe that will work like a nocd without copying some files and dirs onto hd! there should be nfo's that'll explain it.
(if i remember right a regkey fix is needed, too!)

I did it, but that was LOOOOONG ago. Still if next week you still haven't suceeded, pm me and I'll try to do it myself again and explain it to you...

(any reason to reinstall and replay a Monkey Island game is a good reason

Or just use ScummVM from www.scummvm.org . You only have to copy the cd´s to your hd.
