Question Backup Hitman 2 ?

[B][SIZE=3][FONT=courier new][COLOR=darkblue]Hi, everyone, I have a Pioneer DVD-R/RW and use Prassi Primo to build a global image of the original disc Hitman 2 and than burn that image to a dvd disc, but the copy does not work. I have made many other DVD backups such as Vice City, Dead to Rights, the news 007 games and many others. I have had great luck using Maxell DVD-R recordable disc's on all our DVD game but Hitman 2. Thanks for any detailed help.

Thought so, I recently went to the (no solder mod) as my soldering iron is on the other side of the uk, and I can't afford another I had one spare so I installed it in a new version 7 The perils of student life

Anyway, There are games that will not run when using the swap magic 2 disks. Below is a list of games that i've tried and tested with the magic 2 / no solder duo.

1. 007 : Nightfire
2. Air Ranger 2 (Jap)
3. Auto Modellista
4. Blade 2
5. Burnout 2
6. Capcom vs SNK 2
7. Colin Mc Crae Rally 3
8. Commandos 2
9. Endgame
10. Evil Twin
11. Elite Force
12. Extermination
13. Fifa World Cup 2002
14. Fifa 2003
15. Final Fantasy 10
16. GTA
17. GTA : Vice City
18. Headhunter
19. ICO
20. Jak & Dexter
21. Lord Of The Rings : Two Towers
22. Maximo
23. Monsters INC
24. Metal Gear Solid 2
25. Medal Of Honour : Allied Assault
26. No-One Lives Forever
27. Parappa The Rapper 2
28. Ratchet & Clank
29. Rayman M
30. Rayman Revolution
31. Scooby Doo
32. Starwars – Jedi Starfighter
33. Silent Hill 2
34. Spiderman
35. Shadow Of Memories
36. State Of Emergency
37. Stuntman
38. Soul Reaver 2
39. Shadow Hearts
40. Tekken 4
41. The Weakest Link
42. The Thing
43. Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3
44. Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4
45. Toca Race Driver
46. Turok Evolution
47. Timesplitters 2
48. Twisted Metal Black
49. Virtua Fighter 4
50. V Rally 3
51. Wipeout Fusion
52. World Rally Championship
53. WWF Smackdown 4
54. David Beckham Soccer (NOT WORKING)
55. Prisoner Of War (NOT WORKING)
56. Pro Evolution Soccer 2 (NOT WORKING)
57. Britney’s Dance Beat (NOT WORKING)
58. Hitman 2 (NOT WORKING)

It's not been updated in a while but all new games released since this list work fine.

Don't worry though! If you really want to get Hitman 2 (or any of the other games working) you can by doing the swap with a action replay 2.
If you do decide to purchase the action replay 2 then BG has kindly posted a sticky at the top of this forum which explains the boot methods. You will need a dvd based game with a large table of contents to do the swap. (I use gta3)

Now i noticed that you have a version 4 so you'l be fine using the action replay 2. *** Version 7 owners > You cannot use the above method due to security restrictions on the version 7 so the only option you have is to get a noswap (Messiah 2) installed.

Hope this helps dude,
James
