Problem

I have Plextor 16x, clonecd 3.2.1.1 Perfect copy of Wizardry 8 cd3 (work fine with daemon tools) doesnt work on Plextor (ask to reinsert cd) and on my Asus40x reader it just freeze - the cd-rom keeps reading somthing endlessly and nothing happens. Help please.

Wizadry is probably SD2 andyou didn't make a perfect acopy, any get a patch torun it.

I play the game by running the disk with Daemon-Tools! Without any patches. Where must be a way to make a real CD, maybe my copys OK, buy my Asus40x cant read them...

HELP!!

there is only a way to make a perfect one if you have a compatible burner. Check our elby.de and there is list of which have EMF encoding which can do it.

Mate, your cd burner CANNOT handle the weak sectors of safedisc 2.
Thus, your copy IS NOT 100% perfect.
It will only run with DT installed since your copy is imperfect, and probably has an ATIP check as well. Your Plextor will return an ATIP check, your ASUS won't (cos it's a cdrom), so the Plextor errors early, whereas your cdrom (asus) keeps spinning, trying to resolve these weak sectors which aren't there!

You have 2 options to make a PERFECT copy.

1. Get yourself a new burner which does EFM encoding properly
2. Try the "amplify weak sectors" option in the new version of CloneCD. It may work for your burner.

Thanks! Is it posssibe in future my burner will supprot EFM? (bios updates or somethig) BTW, "amplify.." doesnt work
