soa(echelon)

i have the echelon release of skies of arcadia sometimes sound after the action, before and after the battles lots of small icons appear at the bottom of the screen.is there a solution?

Heh yeah i got the same (the fix release with the trainer).. i thought it might be a sign of loading/streaming or a sign that it changes mode (from actual play graphics to battle play graphics). I never saw the original GD rom of the game so that means i can't say its in the real version but to be honest it doesn't distract at all.

Same here with me, but even worse. Before each battle starts, the visuals begin to stutter massively during the whole sequence-fade-in. I tried several different brands of CD-R, cause it just looked like the laser suddenly can't read the data anymore. Then I thought it might has something to do with Echelon's Realtime-Decompressor.

For me it's absolutely unplayable or at least un-enjoyable through that. Maybe anyone an idea, how to fix this? Have I missed some patch for that game?
