Iron Storm crashing
Hi, i was wandering if anyone has had the game Iron Storm suddenly reset your computer. With me, every once and awhile, the game will suddenly go black, and my computer restarts.....
I have absolutely no idea why this is happening so i hope someone here can help me.. ------------------------------------------------------------------ p4 2.2 gig 512 ram 80 gig hd 32 meg geforce 2 (i know its shit)

had some problems like that on my win2k system.
but i downloaded the newest VIA 4.45 Chipset Drivers and all worked fine. download these new drivers when you have a VIA mainboard. http://www.viaarena.com/?PageID=2 maybe the newest detonator drivers will help you to fix the problem. download the 41.03 they are very stable with good performance.

Pherhaps its the following Problem: If you make mission part "b" bevor "a" than you cant play "a" Anymore because the gamecrashes when you go to "c", because for "c" its needed that you have done "a" and "b" before! That happened for example in the city, where you have to destroy the Tank! And if you destroy the tank, than find the mines and than go to facility, the game crahes and system too. Than you have to play the whole level again......hope to help you......

sweet lord, did you have to make it that complicated???? It cant be that because i have had it crash once right before i got in the trenches, before there were any missions to even go to, so i doubt that is it, but thanks for the input....

Iron Storm is very,very,very buggy. From the guaranteed crash if you tried to change keys in the options menu, to almost blowing up my SB Live and speakers when I tried to play it, this was the most buggy game I have ever seen. I had to take it back to the store, since it absolutely refused to work with my SB Live. I sincerely hope they're working on some huuuuuuuuge patches.

They have released a new patch that fixes about 500 places that the game likes to crash in, to bad that leaves about 4000 more crashing places..... the patch in my opinion did nothing, it dident even help the crappy multiplayer become less laggy... im just going to uninstall it unless someone knows how to fix my problem. To bad, i really did like the concept of the game.......
