it's a programme which allows you to play other region dvd's on your xbox ( other than region 2 europe) you need a mod chip installed in order to run it i dont know if it supports all regions yet. you can dl it from megagames.com or pm me your e-mail i will send you a copy.

I think modchips allow you to play multi region dvd's, and DVDx2 allows you to play multi-region dvd's, with out the xbox dvd kit.

as always you're correct. my first modded xbox was not multi region i used the mentioned software to run region 1 discs.
do not remember which mod i had sold it and got matrix instead.
but dvdx does allow modded xbox's to play dvd's without microsoft playback kit

no, it just lets you play multi regional dvd's.
