Imation Cdr's

Hello,
Have been using Verbatim media for my back-ups
thanks to some tips that I have read in this forum.
Lately, I have had trouble finding Verbatim where
I live. Someone has recommended a cdr made by
Imation ( 16X 80 min) for my back-ups.
Anyone have feedback on these discs?

They are fine. There is a pecking order well established on this forum. Verbatim blues are blue coated, slightly thicker and this vastly improves durability and scratch resistance as well as suiting the PS2 laser mechanism. Other branded CD-Rs won't be as durable, the cheaper ones will be more susceptible to scratches reaching the burnt layer. But they're OK. Don't worry about it.

Hi,

They will be fine as an alternative to Verbatim CDrs, i use TDK if i cant get my mits on Verbatim CDRs and had no problems with TDK media, they are a very good alternative to Verbatim which is my first choice of media which ive been using for about 3 years now!!!

Cheers

Dal
