X-Box Busted

Chipped X-box, Put it back together, booted up with a backup, fine, only problem is the controller don`t work !!!
Took out the modchip, put it back together, still the controller don't work. tried it in all ports, even tried a different controller. the controller daughter board is ok, took it out and tried it in another x-box. Anybody help me out on this pleeeeeeessseee.
