Hmmm, what original ( apart from ones that work) are you trying to boot it with???

The best solution is always to go for a no swap chip. I know it's pricey and tricky to fit but well well worth expense and effort.

i can play the copies ( SWAP them) with the original game.

i mean i can start the gta backup, but i need to use the gta original.

with moh its the same

i cant use an other original to start my backup

with cdr i have no problems, just with dvdrom.

i copied it on the fly like I always do with my playstation 1 games, and some of ps2 games( no dvdrom)

i use the ar2 disk first till the mainscreen
then i put in an original playstation dvd, i wait for 30 sec.
then i start the game without codes. i press x, and then when the screen goes black i push eject till its yellow and opens,

now i do the swap

but it only work with the same games (gta origanal- gtabackup)

Mate, Sounds like you're doing the swap slightly wrong. The start is fine up though the screen shouldn't go black completly.

The game you should use is dave mirra bmx 2, chose ALL codes then select start game with codes.
A message will come up saying too many codes.

AT THIS POINT > do the swap (ie hold eject then swap dvd original for dvdr)

Then chose ok.

Then go through the menus and choose start games WITH NO codes.

This should work

Check a post at the start of this forum by BG who explains in more depth how to do the swap

Let me know
James

you sure can! Use gta3 (As it has a big TOC)

When you choose dave mirra bmx 2 make you that you go down and turn on all the codes. Don't forget though that after it says "Too many codes" you're gonna be starting the game with no codes selected.
Therfore the action replay isn't doing jack when your dvdr game is playing!
