backup dvd games
I have a chipped ps2 with a judas chip on trying to play a backed up dvd game it comes up with the message please insert a playstation or ps2 format disk ,as this chip is supposed to boot up all games without swapping has anyone got any idears as to what is wrong

- can you post some more info on this, boot methods/picture etc if you have them ![]() how are you backing your games? programs/burner what media are you using? how are you trying to boot them - just a single reset?

Have you actually got operating instructions for chip??? Most no swap chips require one or two resets after initially switching the PS2 on to set the chip in a particular mode I.E with messiah you need to hit the reset button once to get PS2 cdr and DVDR to boot. If you can get it to boot PS2 cdr's though it should stand to reason that you can also boot PS2 dvdr in same mode.
