Once again another post for the same repeated question over and over..Look around the Ps2 forum in here for the answer..
It's pretty simple rather..I give you a hint, the chip ends with a Pro..

Contrary to popular belief, you dont have to get a messiah 2. First you need to figure out what ver. of ps2 you have. True w/ the messiah 2 and the magic 3 it really doesnt matter but if you can go the cheaper way and get the same results then y not? if you have a ver.4 or above then your fine.
