Most burning softwares will create a cd image on your HD of a cd if you have that option ticked (not burning on-the-fly).
This image contains everything, bad sectors and all (especially if you use CloneCD with a compatible reader).
If your image did not have this info, then it would be useless, as it wouldn't be a correct cd image and would thus be unreadable by all software.

And by the way, why would you want to do this anyway?

If all you want is the files from the cd, then copy and paste them to a folder, then use something like WinOnCD to burn these files back to a cdr.
But this would be useless unless your game loader was cracked to remove the protection.

copy and paste should work....there is no reason why?

Otherwise use windows explorer to copy and paste directly.
there is no difference in doing this to copying from one folder to another on your hard drive. Just make sure the "show all files" is highlighted in the VIEW, FOLDER OPTIONS, VIEW, tick SHOW ALL FILES
