Question what dvd+r media works??

I have a version 7 ps2 with magic 3 chip installed but cant get dvd-rom backups to play (drive makes clicking sounds). i have been using nero to burn dvd+r backups and have tried dvd+r Datawrite and dvd+r verbatim disks but they wont play. If i backup the games onto a philips dvd+RW they play... Any suggestions??? P.S, using win XP, phillips dvdr228k drive.

Nero can be scetchy when it comes to some ps2 games. Try using RecordNow Max or PrimoDvd with the latest pxengine update.

DVD+R media

So far I have burned games on SONY, Verbatim and Memorex DVD+R media, I see no difference on my v7, I use record now max 4.50 to burn my games, I have had no errors or nonbootable games, see the tutorial on this forum on how to use record now max
